Our manufacturing facility, located in North Carolina, is supported by distribution points across the country and a staff of dedicated industry professionals with customer service as their focus. Tom Kipp
President
Tom Kipp has been at the helm of Grass America since February 2013. With a successful career that has seen him rise from an international plant manager to a senior-level manufacturing strategist, Mr. Kipp brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master of International Business Studies from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
Under Mr. Kipp's leadership, Grass America has experienced significant growth and success. He has spearheaded the expansion of the company's North Carolina operation, overseeing its increased size, manufacturing output, and product range. In addition, he has implemented numerous operational improvements, optimizing efficiency and enhancing overall performance.
Before assuming his current position in the United States, Mr. Kipp held various positions in several countries, including Mexico, Spain, Germany, and the Czech Republic. This global exposure has given him an understanding of diverse cultures, business practices, and manufacturing operations. With his comprehensive background and strategic mindset, Tom Kipp continues to drive Grass America forward, propelling the company to new heights of success in the industry.
Matthias Bulla
Executive Vice President
Matthias Bulla, Executive Vice President, has been a valuable asset to the Grass Group and the Würth Group since September 1990. Prior to joining Grass, he held various positions at Mepla-Alfit, showcasing his expertise and versatility in the industry. Since 2008, Mr. Bulla’s focus has been on Grass America’s Sales and Marketing. He now leads the sales operations for both North America and South America for Grass. Drawing from his experience and leadership positions in Malaysia and Austria, this global exposure has equipped him with an understanding of multinational companies and their diverse management styles, including sales, product management, marketing, and customer service.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bulla has played a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships with key clients, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. His commitment to excellence has been instrumental in upholding the highest quality standards and driving success for both sales and operations teams.
Mr. Bulla's expertise and industry knowledge make him a respected leader in the field. With a proven track record of delivering results, he continues to shape and elevate the business landscape in his current role at Grass America.
